BONE$

In February 1974 NEINEA set up a committee through which it could financially help the betterment of the Norwegian Elkhound and dogs in general.   The committee BONE$ -- Betterment of Norwegian Elkhounds -- invites members to suggest foundations, universities, clinics, and animal welfare agencies to which the club donates money.  The BONE$ committee has also made possible the donation of copies of Olav Wallo's The Complete Norwegian Elkhound to area libraries.  Funds are raised through special raffles and donations.
