GCNEC Mission Statement
- To create, foster and promote interest
in Norwegian Elkhounds.
- To encourage their breeding in accordance
with the standard set by the Norwegian Elkhound Association of America.
- To promote and advance the interest
of the breed by conducting licensed specialty shows, obedience trials
and sanctioned matches under the rules of the American Kennel Club.
- To encourage cooperation and sportsman-like
competition among owners and exhibitors.
